Ideal hotel with recently refurbished rooms and incredibly beautiful view of the park. Comfy beds and a mini-bar, climate control, and an individual safe. Big bathroom with a bathtub; attentive and best staff. What a good stay, no reason to complain.

The staff were pleasant, and the room was decent size and newly remodelled with very new bathroom.

The room I booked here had a great view overlooking the park and the lake. the bed was super comfy, and the bathroom was spacious, equipped with a shower, hairdryer, and soft bath sheets. 🛁.

The hotel was ideal and fairly clean in a comfortable area. Marvellous and beautiful location, pleasant restaurant. Newly remodelled room, exceptionally comfortable bed and a contemporary decor.

Wi-Fi connection was slow.

The hotel is clean and located in a perfect spot with lovely park views. the meals provided are outstanding and the hot drinks are a great addition. the rooms are spacious and the breakfast is savoury and reasonably good. the staff is very professional, attentive, and pays attention to detail. the location is very convenient, close to a tram stop, restaurants , and near Rotterdam.

comfortable hotel near Gauda. It is located near the motorway, but hotel is quiet. Easy access, its own free parking, comfortable beds, good breakfast - all that a car traveler needs.

After settling, they found that the windows were covered with very dense mosquito nets (almost opaque) with no possibility to extend them. In other words, fresh air is penetrating, but it is impossible to see something outside the window. We were a little upset, but since we stopped for one night, we decided not to bother. In the morning, the check-out mentioned the windows and nets, and we were explained that they are actually moved apart, but not by hands but by automatics. (And in general, it's not from mosquitoes, but from the overheating of the room by the sun - ecologists...) Of course, it's our own fault that we did not call the reception in the evening and did not ask, but it's better to warn guests on arrival or hang a noticeable announcement.

The room was modern, soundproof, and in good condition, located just a few steps away from everything.

Recently renovated, comfortable quiet room with very clean bed. Great views, savoury breakfast with omelettes and made to order eggs, as example.

We stayed at Van Der Valk Hotel for a weekend getaway and were pleasantly surprised by our bright and comfortable room overlooking the lake. The bed was cozy, everything was spotless, and the hotel was well-insulated from any road noise. The location was convenient, with easy access to the highway but nestled in a peaceful nature reserve. The staff was friendly and accommodating, ensuring we had a pleasant stay. We especially enjoyed the unique art installation on the roof, featuring colorful miniature animals. The wellness facilities were lovely, although a few minor maintenance issues could be addressed.

Would recommend this hotel.
